Tree of Life Fertility Center welcomes and embraces LGBTQ community members who want to build their own families. We maintain two fertility clinics in Los Angeles, California, and are the top destination for domestic and international patients. For 18 years, we have proudly supported all patients on their journey to parenthood — regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or marital status. Your unique situation might call for an egg donor and a gestational carrier (surrogate) who will care for your embryo and fetus until birth. Caroline Kim
- Physician Associate
Caroline Kim is a licensed and board-certified Physician Associate specializing in reproductive endocrinology. She obtained her Bachelor of Science at the University of Arizona in Public Health. She completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University of Nevada. Caroline grew up in Arizona and can speak both Japanese and Korean. She is excited to work with both individuals and couples at Tree of Life Fertility Center, and help them with their fertility needs.
Christian Bair and his husband Stefan (German couple) made the decision in 2018 that they no longer wanted to live as a couple. They started their fertility journey in early 2019 Christian searched in California USA and found a great clinic with a great team. They were lucky to find a great surrogate with whom they are still in regular contact. On April 20, 2020, their daughter was born in Kings County, California. Based on Christian's experience, he would like to help others who are considering to have a child. Christian can answer questions in German that revolve around the desire to have a child. For Germany whether legal or questions about the process, Christian offers advice. He is the German speaking contact person for Tree of Life Kinderwunschzentrum Los Angeles. Dr. Jovanovic is an internationally respected fertility specialist who focuses on providing exceptional care to the LGBTQ community in Southern California. Under his leadership, Tree of Life developed into a trusted brand for intended fathers needing surrogacy and egg donation. Dr. Jovanovic completed his postgraduate medical training at Duke University and Columbia University in New York City. He is double board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and OB/Gyn in both United States and Europe. The experience of practicing reproductive medicine in different countries is a tremendous asset to any patient seeking cross-border reproductive care. Dr. Jovanovic is constantly working to find new ways to maximize patient success rates and use the latest technology and optimized treatment protocols. Apart from the medical expertise, Dr. Jovanovic is easily approachable and a passionate LGBTQ advocate. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). Dr. Jovanovic speaks German and Serbian.
